Youll just have to unplug the black and gree plug from the main black box and go get that little black box from somewhere. I took mine out of a V6 pathfinder so theyre compatable and should work fine.

I just went out there and unplugged them. I'm going to go by the dealership in the morning, just want to replace it with something new for my piece of mind

And so apparently I have a major short some where as soon as I plugged the new fusible link in there the bitch started smoking and that one went bad. I replaced all of the battery terminals ormjusiece of mind and to figure out the issue. Nothing in the interior is working including my switch box. Any insight would be helpful.

And before that? your probably just going to have to inspect every fuckin wire for any exsposed wire and make sure nothings pinched. that'll be fun.

Yeah i doubt they will touch it. it could be quite a few things. Id try disconnecting any additional wires from the battery and.only hook up the bare minimum.

I would look for a shop that specializes in auto electric. They will probably have it figure out in a day or 2 . If it never did it before I would re trace anything you have recently touched that had wires going to it .

Found the harness I needed and it worked but now I have a short someone else that's completely draining the 2 batteries and one being a brand new optima. I just replaced the ground wire thinking that was it but I was wrong. Im thinking it's the starter sucking the battery dry and not letting it start. Any more help is more appreciated.

Everything is def tight. We are thinking the solenoid on the starter s sticking. Original I had the alternator tested with the other problem anditvwas fine so I'm going to replace it with a new one but we are leaning towards the starter.

Is the truck just acting like it wont start or are the batteries for sure dead ?
My truck sometimes will be super slow to start or not start at all.

I have 0 gauge body to batter , 4 g battery to head ground wire upgrade , only thing I haven't upgraded is the starter ground.

I replaced the ground cable from the head to the battery. It drained both batteries while trying to start the truck. I'm going to install and new alternator and pull the starter and go from there even if both test good they are both getting replaced, might as well sinc ether are out.
