Two batteries would be ideal IMO. depending upon how your battery tray is setup it would require modification to get a "bigger" battery to fit.

You wont NEED a bigger alternator for less than 1000 watts total. If voltage drop is an issue with two batteries you will just need to make sure you keep the rpms up when you are playing.

I would worry about getting everything in an playing , maybe do the big 3 also , with the little bit of power your gonna be running I dont see you need anything more then a second batter at most.

Here is a Matching amp 2 that 2 channel that you have.Mind you that amp does no where near 3000w especially @ the impedance you will be running I think it would work out just fine for what you need.
