Coop's 96 hb
I figured I should start adding all my stuff up here. I think i told you guys at the go kart track but I got my corner lights coming in the mail, and next week ill be going to the junkyard to pick up my 2 piece bumper. I just saw the graffiti'd fronteir and that really inspired me to do something crazy when im done with engine and suspension. And does anyone know if I have to get a special housing for my fog lights for HIDs? or can I use stock? Thanks guys!

Not to sure about the fog lights. None of my hard body's have had them.
Unless your're referring to the bumper light as a fog light, which I am like 99% it uses a standard single/dual filament bulb.
So you could either like find a house that would fit and would with an HID , or retro fit an HID into it (though I dont see it working right) . Also LED 1156/1157 bulbs are an option an should be pretty bright if your are talking about the bumper light.

Re: Coop's 96 hb
If you know him give him a big one finger wave for me i cant really be mad at him. I shouldn't have given my passionate relationship away along with a thousand dollars for a limp legged, half ass built lemon but I really didn't have a choice. ask him what hapenned to the wires for the corner lights because one is gone and the other is not working at all. But along with having to re-wire, and re-weld bag brackets I've had to depend on and fix that truck on a daily basis. Everyone saw it the other night when i was throwing sparks and not laying frame, (IT DOESNT LAY FRAME LIKE HE SAID). I just wish that chain would have snapped a little harder for him .POS-hardbody wrote:Oh did coop buy it from a guy named brandon?
Enough with the ranting though, the real reason I'm on is to show everyone my new, to me, junkyard bumper.
Its a little dinged up but in pretty good condition considering the truck look like it got into a fight with a freightliner.
It still needs a little adjusting and the proper, not bent, brackets and the black skirt. But it looks alot better none the less! Hope you guys enjoy it so far. My euro-style corner lights should be in the next couple of days and ill be ordering my bumper lights in two weeks. Also I just started my Amplified Mass XXX protein diet to try to gain some pounds.

Sorry didn't read high enough up on it but no it's no longer for sale. If you could trade me an 03 and up gsxr 1000 in whatever cosmetic condition but atleast rideable running condition I would consider even giving you some cash on top. But I dont think I will even consider trading it until it atleast has a decent interior. I have had to many projects turn sour and I just throw them away. I'm gona try to finish this one lol

Ok I got my corner lights on and working. I dont know if they are supost to be but they are my blinkers. I will probably modify them to be parking lights and blinkers seeing how ill have hid in my bumper lights. Pics go up tomorrow when they can be seen.

Re: Coop's 96 hb
That'd be tight. I may know someone that has the stuff to lower it .
Dream beams would be required to bag it properly. As the factory I beams are cast iron an a bitch to weld to correctly.
DJM Dream Beams/Flip kit.

Re: Coop's 96 hb
Long time coming but here is those pics. Also. The ranger I'm thinking might get some kind of home made dream beam idea I'm thinking of. But well talk that stuff when it really gets going. For now, I'm going to call Ryan? About my 4 link today and get that settled and then I also need shock tabs. Does anyone know what shock to use? I will take measurements of all the way up and all the way down and get my parameters but if anyone has suggestions on brand or type etc. It will be appreciated.

Alot of ppl use hardbody shocks , on other builds.
So stock style shocks , maybe be good.
