If i can remember correctly my cat is cut out with a simple peice of pipe welded in there. But now that i think about it, idk what EVAP is... probably not the cat, im with Curtis on this one

Lol the ugly little round thing with all the tubes coming off of it on the drivers side fender next to the header.

yes . It is emissions and it can be removed. I plan to do so here pretty soon on mine! As far as I can tell it consist of blocking off some vac lines an plugging the EGR bing on the header.

Id say only benefits would be cleaning up the engine bay. i wouldn't see there being any gains from it other than that.

cleans up the engine bay and gives the engine a little more power plus it opens up a space for an engine driven compressor
