If you are going to do that , Id suggest starting on a new/better shape bed.It would probably better in the long run with the time it would take to get the current one straight.

Re: Coop's 96 hb
Werd. Just sayin it would be the smartest route even if it took way longer. Then you could cut out out/sheet metal how you want , flare the fenders how you want etc etc etc .

Re: Coop's 96 hb
wellp. my mono leafs snapped today. soooo...... going to do a 4 link. only question is weld or bolt on? deffinately going to do a triangulated. and id really like to do bag on bars. want to try to keep the idea of using leaf spring to frame mounts but it needs to layout. also the front doesnt lay out completely but can i adjust that by the torsion bars??

Re: Coop's 96 hb
I haven't really seen any bolt on kits for the hardbody.
Bag on bar would be nice but there is a certain way to set up the lift ratios.
I do not think the truck will lay/drag safely using stock leaf perches/position.
The torsion bars should be unhooked , Id think.

Re: Coop's 96 hb
i would do a weld on kit for sure and scratch the leaf spring mount idea. As for the front, theres not much you can do although you should be able to lay on 17's easy i would think

Re: Coop's 96 hb
Well I have to put springs back on regardless to make it back to center. Were talking about possibly doing a quick 2 link with a panhard.

Re: Coop's 96 hb
2 link with panhard isnt a bad setup, and yes welding the links on with the leafsprings in place does make life easier but its not necessary if you cant do it

Re: Coop's 96 hb
Leave em on for the panhard anyway. So the rear end is centered
