Re: POS Hardbody build
Strength for sure! Airflow, prolly but never metered so I dont have any idea lol. I always over braced since any flex is bad for a box and bass!

This box has the resin'd 45s , it doesn't use that much resin it all depends on how big you want them.

Worked on the box, no pictures... Was in the zone. Got my T-nuts installed in the wood. And while in the zone, got a little careless, negligent and had a noob moment and punctured the surround a little. Ways to do a quick fix on that?

Id leave it , play it for a while an see if it spreads . If not You'll be good , if so Id put some kind of flexible rtv/silicone/something on the back side of the surround I have done it as I am sure most have . I never had any issues with it spreading.

Re: POS Hardbody build
Got it in there and playing. But not "complete." Still need to glass the inside for strength and then build the false floor. But its playing and im pretty fuckin pleased with it. I went to the Gun and Knife show, bought some things, then hustled them to a few other people i know so i have a little bit of cash for materials. But its staying ghetto rigged until the meet on saturday, then its all coming out sometime during the following week and ill hopefully be getting the shit to work on it.

Re: POS Hardbody build
Fiberglassed the box, did some chopped mat in the top where the cuts werent exact and did the resin 45's like you guys suggested and it seems a tad bit louder to be honest, maybe just a mind game. Im not sure. Also the pops finally made these for me...
Solid copper distro block. Still need to take it back to the shop, drill mounting holes and a few more 1/4" holes for smaller wire. Theres another being made for the negative as well. This way when i get my second battery itll be a complete circuit and no grounding to the frame. Granted the battery will gounded to the frame but amps and cross over will be positive to battery and negative to battery.

Re: POS Hardbody build
Well uhhh.... Bought a dash board the other day so i could fiberglass the dip out of the passenger side. And bought the shit today to start it. So... Instead of starting a new thread, figured id just put it in this one.
Said dashboard assembly... Ugly and whatnot
This is how it went down. Took tape and masked it off, and took a razor blade and went around the edges. Took what was cut out, and traced it onto floral foam.
Cut out the traced foam.
Shaved material off the back and sides to make it fit in nice.
And fucking mess!
Already started laying down resin and mat. But didnt take pictures cause thats just messy as hell. More to come.

Re: POS Hardbody build
Actually ill upload the other pictures i have now...
This is it after the first layer of body filler and sanding. Primered it so i could find my high and low spots easier.
Then more filler.
Im also shaving the pocket, dip, and indent in this panel. Which goes under the steering column.
